The Upper Meuse archeological museum
Located in a valley that was ideal for the movement of our ancestors, Homo sapiens and Homo neanderthalensis, the museum features a permanent collection of archaeological remains and artifacts, as well as temporary exhibitions.
Spanning two floors, the museum provides a comprehensive overview of the origins of civilization in the Meuse Valley and its tributaries upstream from Namur, extending through the end of Late Antiquity and into the early High Middle Ages.
